SimplistUGC is an AI filming planner for content creators and UGC creators. Describe your idea and the AI generates a shot list and script in seconds. Attach a location and the app reminds you automatically when you arrive to film. Think of it as a smart shoot prep tool that knows where you are.

Tap the + button on the home screen. Give your task a title (e.g. "Beach GRWM for @brand"), write a short brief describing your idea, and optionally add a location and deadline. Tap Generate — the AI creates your shot list and script in seconds. You can also manage tasks from the web at app.simplistugc.app.

A shot list is a checklist of the clips you need to capture for a task — for example "Opening shot at golden hour", "Product close-up on white surface", "B-roll of hands using product". Describe your idea and the AI generates a shot list for you instantly, so you never start from a blank page.

Yes. Each task has a Script / talking points field where you can paste brand briefs, key messages, or full scripts. When you open the task detail, you can copy the script to your clipboard with one tap — handy for reading it off-screen while filming.

Open the task detail and tap ✓ Mark as done. The task moves out of your active list. Completed tasks are stored and can be viewed from the home screen.

When you add a location to a task, SimplistUGC registers a geofence — an invisible boundary around that spot (150 metres by default). When your iPhone detects you've entered that boundary, the app sends a notification reminding you of the task and its shot list. This works even when the app is closed, as long as location access is set to "Always".

Check the following:

1. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → SimplistUGC and make sure it's set to "Always" (not "While Using").
2. Make sure Notifications are enabled for SimplistUGC in Settings.
3. The notification only fires when you arrive at the location — it won't fire if you're already there when you create the task.
4. Each task only notifies once every 2 hours to avoid spam.

When creating or editing a task, tap the Location field and search for the place by name or address. Select it from the autocomplete list — the app saves the exact coordinates so the geofence is accurate. You can set any address, landmark, park, café, or custom location.

No. SimplistUGC uses region monitoring (iOS geofencing), not continuous GPS tracking. iOS handles geofencing at the system level using low-power cell tower and Wi-Fi data — it doesn't run the app in the background constantly. Your location is never sent to our servers; it's processed entirely on-device.

The free trial gives you full access to all Pro features for 14 days — AI-generated shot lists and scripts, unlimited tasks, location reminders, and deadlines. No credit card required to start. After the trial ends, you'll need a Pro subscription to continue creating tasks.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
3. Tap SimplistUGC and select Cancel Subscription

You keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but you can email us at support@simplistugc.app if you have concerns.

Open the app and navigate to the subscription screen. Tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Your Pro status will be restored automatically.

First try tapping "Restore Purchases" on the paywall screen. If that doesn't resolve it, email us at support@simplistugc.app with your Apple ID email address and we'll manually update your account within 24 hours.

No — you can start using SimplistUGC immediately as a guest. Your tasks are saved locally during the trial. To sync across devices and access the web app, create a free account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.

Yes, once you create an account. Your tasks, shot lists, scripts, and deadlines sync automatically across your iPhone and the web app at app.simplistugc.app. Location reminders are device-specific (they require the app on your iPhone).

Email support@simplistugc.app with the subject line "Delete my account" from the email associated with your account. We'll delete all your data within 7 days and confirm by email.
